The above spells P-E-A-C-E with Semaphore Flags, a system for conveying information at a distance by means of visual signals with hand-held flags, rods, disks, paddles, or occasionally bare or gloved hands.

It was Flag Semaphore that gave the world two symbols used today, the "Peace Symbol" and the "Ultimate Disciple" Symbol.

Most people already know the Peace Symbol - an internationally recognized symbol of world peace. But few understand the difference between it and the Ultimate Disciple Symbol - used to identify the the most true followers of the Holy Bible and of Yeshua the original name of the Son of God. The Symbols look very much the same but have a huge difference in meaning!

To understand let's look at the three Flag Symbols N-D and U-D...

Let's look at the "D" Flags first...

Just imagine what the arms and flag poles would look like if you drew them on a piece of paper inside of a circle! One up and one down, it would just be a straight line from top to bottom.

If you were to go to Semaphore Flag School that is exactly what you would see in your instruction manual for the letter "D"!


Now lets look at the letter "N"...

It is described as a 45 degree downward position of both flags. Some just say an upside-down "V"! If you were to draw it in a circle it would be at the bottom...

"N" PLUS "D" EQUALS PEACE!

To be clear, here is the drawings from the Semaphore Flag Manual...

ULTIMATE DISCIPLES!

By now you have already guessed the symbol for the Ultimate Disciples...

However, I should add one more thing...

The Ultimate Disciples focus more on the position of the Body in the flag formation for the letter "U"! Take a look...

This is the position a person has when they are truly praising God!

The Ultimate Disciples say that in this position the body looks like the letter "Y" which is the first letter of the "Name above all names" in the Bible, Yeshua the Messiah.

Yeshua the Messiah, it is written, is the one who brings you the Peace the Passes all Understanding!

So there you have it - the Ultimate Peace is from God's Son, Yeshua the Messiah!
